The Bahamas provides an opportunity for some of the best scuba diving in the world. Blackbeard's has been taking divers to the best dive sites in the Bahamas for over 30 years. There is no better place where the water is crystal clear and marine life is abundant. Scouts will have the opportunity to observe marine ecosystems in a pristine ocean environment. Life is so profuse and diverse that we offer a REEF fish ID course* which will allow our divers to identify the different species of fish that will be observed while diving. Our dive sites are some of the best the Bahamas has to offer.

On average we will dive two per day with a night dive in the evening. Two dives a day provides for ample time for exploring a deserted island, for the halyard swing or for finding your own adventure. Blackbeard's can make a custom itinerary dependent upon the needs and desires of the passengers.

We at Blackbeard's strongly believe in scuba dive safety and we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable environment. A scuba instructor is on every trip and in charge of all aspects of diving, including safety. We strive to provide a diving platform that is safe and secure and take the necessary precautions to provide a safe and enjoyable environment. The onboard instructor will tend to every need of your troop including presenting mandatory dive briefings, helping passengers with their scuba gear, and helping divers in and out of the water. Our vessels carry more then the recommended amount of safety equipment.

Our rental line has all the scuba gear necessary for an action packed week long adventure. We have top of the line regulators, BCD's, computers and lights for rent.
