Aquacat offers the most spacious and luxurious accommodations in the fleet. She has 11 large double cabins. She normally carries 22 passengers but can carry up to 30 as several of the cabins have berths that fold out of the walls. There is plenty of room for teaching on board, including a digital projector for convenient computerized lessons and lectures. Aqua Cat also has a 28' jet drive launch boat that is perfect for getting groups into hard to reach mangrove and nearshore habitats for land based field exercises. A college group with large numbers can either charter the entire boat for their trip, or run their trip concurrently with other passengers while maintaining their scientific focus. She is based out of Nassau and cruises to the Exumas. While the Aqua Cat is the priciest of the liveaboards, her comfort, technological and nearshore capabilities are unparalleled!

The large main salon is ideal for teaching, especially in foul weather, and easily accommodates all passengers. In addition, Cat Ppalu's catamaran design means smooth sailing for the entire voyage. Her Nassau based itinerary means that she is consistently sails to the exotic Exumas Land and Sea Park, an ideal land-based field destination. Pricing for Cat Ppalu is similar to the Blackbeard's fleet, although if you are looking to bring more than a dozen students, Blackbeard's is the least expensive option.
